About Me

My photo
Hello everyone and welcome to my Beer 365 Project! Here I will enjoy and review a beer every day for a year. You can look forward to reviews of many different beers, brewery trips, and more!

Day 005/365: Leffe Blond

Brewery: Leffe
Syle:  Blond (Blonde)
Origin: Belgium

Overall: B+

A great classic Belgian Ale. I would not call it unique or extraordinary, but that does not mean you should just pass it by. Delightful notes of citrus and honey along with a creamy texture and thick head make this a great daily drinker.

Aroma: B A classic Belgian Ale aroma with a strong citrus backbone and hints of spice and yeast. Mellow and smooth.

Taste & Mouth Feel: B A slight bitterness leads in followed by soft hints of honey and caramel. A lightly carbonated beer, the citrus notes stand out. The only downside, being mas produced and not a craft, is that the flavor is not very original nor does it exceedingly impress. That, however, is not a downfall. This would be a great daily drinker.

Color: Pours a delightful clear amber with a thick fluffy head. This beer looks beautiful in any glass.
